Docs·Brand Kit

Identity, Visual & Voice

The three tabs that define who you are — what to write, what to skip, and what actually shapes output.

Updated 2026-07-22

The first three Brand Kit tabs are the foundation everything else builds on. If you only fill three tabs, make it these.

Identity

This tab describes what the brand is.

  • Name — the brand name as you'd say it out loud. Not always the legal name.
  • Tagline — one line, ≤160 chars. Should read like it could go under the logo. If you don't have one, leave blank.
  • Description — 2–3 sentences. What you do, who for, what makes you different. This gets injected into every generation prompt.
  • Mission — optional. What you're trying to change in the world. Useful for values-driven brands.
  • Website — used as a default URL hint for the WordPress connection card. Also picked up by generators that link to your site.

Visual

Colours, fonts, and logo — used when the generator draws images or designs cards.

  • Primary / secondary / accent colours — hex codes. The image generator biases toward these when it makes cards, quote graphics, and title overlays. Pick colours you'd actually use, not aspirational ones.
  • Fonts — sans, serif, display, mono, condensed, rounded, or slab. Impacts generated card designs and text overlays.
  • Logo — upload a transparent PNG. Used as a corner watermark on some designs.

Voice

The most impactful tab for text output. Underfilled Voice = generic AI copy; well-filled Voice = "yes, that sounds like us".

  • Tone — free text. Describe how you sound. Adjectives are fine, examples are better. "Warm, playful, never smug. Talks to the reader like a friend, not a customer. Uses first names, avoids corporate we/us."
  • Style rules — hard rules the generator must follow. "Never use exclamation marks. No emoji. Always end questions with a period, not a question mark." Style rules override tone when they conflict.
  • Forbidden words — words the generator will not emit under any circumstances. Common uses: competitor names, industry buzzwords you hate, "utilise", "leverage", "solutions".
  • Sample phrases — short excerpts of copy that sound like you. Two or three real posts you've written work better than a whole page of guidelines. The generator uses them as tone anchors.
  • Pronunciation guide — only affects voice narration (video mode). Format: Postazo = poh-STAH-zoh.

When to iterate

Every time you regenerate a post and think "not quite", check whether the friction is in Voice. Usually it is. Add a rule, add a forbidden word, add a sample phrase, regenerate. Two or three tightening passes gets you copy that's on brand almost every time.
