Filling out the Brand Kit

The one page that every AI generation reads from — a tour of what to put where.

Updated 2026-07-22

The Brand Kit is the single most important page in Postazo. Every time the AI writes copy, drafts a caption, picks a topic, or designs an image, it reads from here first. Half-filled kit = generic output. Well-filled kit = content that sounds like you wrote it.

The tabs at a glance

The kit is split into 10 tabs. You don't need to fill all of them on day one — the ones under Essential are the minimum to get real value out of generation.

Essential

  • Identity — Name, tagline, mission, description, website.
  • Visual — Colours, fonts, and logo. Used in every generated design.
  • Voice — Tone, forbidden words, sample phrases. The highest-impact tab for text output.
  • Audience — Personas + pain points. Steers who copy is written for.
  • Connections — At least one social account. Nothing publishes without this.

Recommended

  • Pillars — 3–6 content themes with relative weights. Drives topic variety.
  • References — Reference posts you like, used as style anchors when generating.

Optional

  • Quotes — Founder or customer quotes the generator weaves in when relevant.
  • Audio — Music library used by Video mode.
  • UGC — User-generated-content look guidance for UGC-style video output.
  • Sources — RSS feeds, sitemaps, and the WordPress connection for pulling in outside material.

What "well-filled" looks like

  • Identity — every field non-empty. Not "TBD".
  • Voice — at least a paragraph in the tone/style field. Mention forbidden words if you have them (industry jargon, competitor names, "we", etc.).
  • Audience — at least one persona with a short description and 2–3 pain points.
  • Pillars — 3–6 content themes. Each with a real description, not just a name. Weights are relative, not percentages.

What to skip on day one

You can leave these blank and add them later without hurting output much:

  • Quotes — useful when you want the AI to occasionally weave in a founder quote.
  • Audio — only matters when you start making videos.
  • UGC — only if you plan to fake user-generated-looking content.

How the kit is used downstream

  • Copy generation reads Identity, Voice, Audience, Pillars, and References every time.
  • Image / video design reads Visual (colours + fonts) for on-brand styling.
  • Autopilot workflows pick topics from Pillars and reference Quotes when relevant.
  • Video mode pulls background music from Audio.

The kit is versioned — you can iterate freely and the last saved value is what generation reads.
